I put off lasik for more than 20 years because of fear. I was recommended The Cornea Laser Eye Institute by my boss, who had his procedure there years before and I know how much research he does on everything so 1/2 the decision was made for me already 🙂 The staff were all very nice, and Dr. Greenstein was patient with my questions and explained all the possibilities and steps. I was able to see quite well the next day and 3 months out my vision is perfect. I have recommended them to two of my friends already!

Its been maybe two years since I got my LASIK surgery and I have great vision! Dr. Greenstein and the staff were extremely courteous, warm, and welcoming. Everyone made sure to explain the procedures so that Id be comfortable. I also appreciate the website which has a lot of information regarding the LASIK and other surgeries. Getting Lasik was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Waking up and being able to see with perfect vision is revolutionary. Dr. Greenstein has the best bedside manners. He walked me through the process step by step, making the process so much more calming! I didnt think doctors spent this much time with patients anymore. I also didnt think Id ever be able to see NEARLY as well as I now can with my new scleral lenses. Id been to three of the other top opthamologists in the metro area and had all but given up on finding a good fit. Once in there, it feels a bit like youre on the set of a sci-fi movie with the various devices they use to map your cornea and customize the lenses, but clearly those devices actually work. The quality of the service was top-notch and I couldnt be happier with the end result!

On February 4, 2000 Dr. Peter Hersh performed LASIK surgery on my deeply nearsighted eyes (-11, -10) and changed the course of my life forever.
