LASIK Laser Eye Surgery New Jersey
The Most Advanced LASIK Technology
Bogota, Colombia - March 7-8, 2013
Dr. Hersh and a team of eye surgeons visited Bogota, Colombia to perform surgery and review patients treated with a new LASIK procedure. This procedure combines LASIK with corneal collagen crosslinking. While LASIK vision correction surgery reshapes the cornea to improve nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism, collagen crosslinking uses a combination of riboflavin (vitamin B2) and ultraviolet light to strengthen the cornea. The team visited Dr. Gustavo Tomayo who has treated many patients with this procedure.
