Vienna, Austria - September 17-21, 2011

"Update on U.S. Clinical Trials of Corneal Collagen Crosslinking."  Dr. Hersh presented the clinical results of corneal collagen crosslinking in a controlled clinical trial.  Stabilization of keratoconus was achieved in most patients over 2 years of followup after crosslinking.

Dr. Hersh invited to speak at 6th International Congress of Corneal Cross-Linking

Milan, Italy - January 21-22, 2011

At the most recent international congress on corneal collagen crosslinking, Dr. Hersh presented a paper on the results of the U.S. Corneal Collagen Crosslinking (CXL) clinical trials.  Of great interest, he presented the work analyzed by the research team  at the CLEI Center for Keratoconus looking at the clinical timecourse of patient outcomes.  To read more about these early results from the clinical trial of collagen crosslinking for keratoconus, refer to our most recently published article, "Corneal collagen crosslinking for keratoconus and corneal ectasia: One-year results".
