Dr. Clark Chang completed his undergraduate program at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. With interests in visual functioning as well as cornea and contact lenses, he pursued further studies in Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University where he obtained both degrees in Doctor of Optometry and Master of Science in Low Vision Rehabilitation.
After the completion of his dual programs, he undertook additional residency training at The Eye Institute at Salus University. Dr. Chang also completed his fellowship in Cornea and Contact Lens at The Cornea and Laser Eye Institute. In addition, he has been involved in many clinical research studies and enjoys lecturing, both locally and nationally, in various topics within the field of eye care.
At the Cornea and Laser Eye Institute and its Center for Keratoconus, Dr. Chang concentrates on providing preoperative and postoperative care for refractive surgery patients. He also specializes in designing specialty contact lenses for optical rehabilitation in patients with various corneal conditions. Examples of the corneal conditions he focuses on are keratoconus, ectasia, post-intacs, post-collagen cross-linking, post-ocular trauma, post-corneal transplant and other ocular procedures.
