A number of surgical options are available to the keratoconus patient.  Recommendation of any of these depend on the individual nature of your problem.  Surgical options include:

1.  Intacs (corneal ring implants).

2.  CK (conductive keratoplasty using radiofrequency applications).

3.  Collagen Crosslinking (C3R - UV riboflavin treatments).

4.  Corneal Transplantation (penetrating keratoplasty, PK).

5.  Superficial keratectomy (SK) and excimer laser phototherapeutic keratectomy (PTK), used for treatment of corneal scars.
