After completing the undergraduate program at McGill University in Montreal, Dr. Fry obtained her optometry degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) College of Optometry. She completed further studies in Vision Science, earning a Masters degree.
Dr Fry’s clinical and research interests
focus on outcomes and quality improvement in laser and refractive surgery. She is a principal investigator on a number of studies and clinical trials, and is study coordinator for FDA-sponsored clinical investigations at the Institute.
Dr. Fry supervises the quality assurance program at the Cornea
and Laser Eye Institute. Through statistical assessment of
patient outcomes, her work allows us to take into
account variables (such as age) which uniquely affect a
patient's individual result.
Dr. Fry is also an expert in corneal optics, with interests in
corneal topography mapping and optical aberrations which may
influence a patient's result.
CLEI seeks study patients.
